Dr. Sean Eastwood was an
accountant and computer systems analyst with chronic back pain when in his mid
30’s he was first exposed to the techniques that he now uses in clinic.
“At the time I was playing a lot of amateur sport and was “doing my back” several times a year. If my “back went” I knew I had a week of significant pain ahead of me and traditional spinal manipulation although it provided symptomatic relief made no difference to the long term stability of my spine. Pain killers and anti-inflammatory drugs also only treated the symptom. ” Dr Eastwood said. “Then it was explained to me that the spine is a series of circuit breakers for the chemical soup of our organs which store emotional triggers, nutritional deficiencies and toxins. I became fascinated with the ability of Kinesiology to diagnose problems with the nervous system and knew I had to change careers.” |
“My aim is to teach patients that we interact internally and externally with the world through our nervous system. Because we are not taught what causes interference to our nervous system we unknowingly become the person that the world turns us into rather than becoming the person that we have the potential to be.” Dr Eastwood said.
